Annual Open House Cancelled

Sometimes we just can’t outmaneuver Mother Nature!
Due to the predicted winter storm on Sunday, we will be cancelling our Open House. Please share this with your friends and neighbors.

After the success of last year’s event, all of us were looking forward to sharing a drink, some good nibbles, and wonderful chat, however for the safety of you and our staff we feel it would be best to cancel.

To make up, We would like to extend our ONE DAY ONLY Open House promotions through the entire week of Dec. 13th- 18th.

Annual Gift Tree for The Cincinnati Children's Home

Michael and Company Salon is once again teaming up with The Children’s Home of Cincinnati to help make the holidays a little brighter for children of Cincinnati. Since 1864, The Children’s Home of Cincinnati has made a meaningful, long-lasting difference in the lives of thousands of vulnerable children and their families. Last fiscal year alone over 6,000 individuals were deeply impacted by our mission: to transform the lives of vulnerable children through individualized treatment and education services that build the skills and confidence to succeed in life. You can pick up your gift tag at Michael and Company Salon. Gifts are due back to the salon, unwrapped, on December 14.

Ok, there is just so much going on at Michael and Company and we couldn't be more excited about it ALLL!!! First off, let us at Michael and Company say HAPPY Holidays!! We wish you and your family a safe and FUN holiday season. Don't forget to relax and enjoy those you love.

First... We want to welcome Erin Dill to our staff! For all you Pelican's Reef lovers, she may look familiar to you because she is currently bartending there! But now we welcome her into our home. Erin is a new designer and she LOVES doing updos (holiday do's, ladies!!)

Secondly... HOLIDAY PARTY is here! Put us on your calendars because December 12th from 1 to4pm, we open our doors to all of our clients to come enjoy lots of food, spirits, and fun giveaways! As well as coming and socializing with friends and family, enjoy discounts on your favorite products!

December’s Product of the Month

Amanda’s product of the month is from our brand new line, No 4! Out of all the wonderful products, Styling Foam is a must! It offers a great hold and is humidity resistant! It also adds volume to hair and is a perfect fix for those fly-aways!

Breast Cancer Fundraiser!

Clean out all those piled up, long forgotten documents cluttering the basement and shred them in seconds at Michael and Company Salon!

The Shred-It Corporation has graciously donated the services of one of their on-site shredding trucks. They will be on our upper parking lot on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 8:15 am to 11:30 am to have your documents safely destroyed within seconds.

The service is usually $150 or more per residential home, but is offered to our wonderful clients complimentary.

There will be special offers from Shred-It Corporation and Michael and Company Salon for future promos on our services. We will also have fall goodies!

November's Product of the Month

Michael and Company beautifying Civil Rights Game

Michael and Company Salon was approached with a unique opportunity. Billie Jean King, a former Tennis Player, was in Cincinnati and honored with the Beacon of Change Award May 15, 2010.

What does that have to do with M&C Salon? Well some of our friends with the Reds came to Michael with the hopes that he would be able to provide hair and makeup for the one and only, Billie Jean. OF COURSE!!! Michael Abernathy and Lori Wilson jumped on the opportunity to make our mark on such an important woman and event. Billie Jean looked beautiful. What an amazing opportunity it was!
